"Arrested Development" is one the greatest tv shows ever made, anyone remember the one where David Cross's character's hair caught on fire, and he was frantically trying to get into the pool that Gob had installed a clear shield over, and as the closing credits rolled, you could hear (from offscreen) a voice crying out, "Dear God, why can't I get UNDER the water?"

@@Orrphan Oh yeah, it's friggin' hysterical. My comment got 30 likes so far, that means at least 30 peeps remembered AND took the extra step of thumbing up. But if by "worth it" you mean having to sit through commercials, then still, yes. (Btw, seasons 1, 2, and 3 are on Netflix AND Hulu, but 4 and 5 are only Netflix. So no ads there.)

@@reesetorwad8346 OK, thanks. I’m not so concerned with commercials I just want to know if it’s a good show. I seem to like everything Jason does, and was wondering if this was on par with his humor and delivery, or just good acting. 100% with Jason Bateman on this one. It's so presumptuous that famous people want to stay in a theater after a 2 hour show. I was a stage actress for over a decade, and even I hated being there after the show 🤣🤣🤣 And noooo I didn't want anyone holding me up just to say something they could e-mail, or tell me over lunch. It's mortifying to sit there and have to act like you're not tired cus someone "graced you with their presence" anyway! Pleasantries are the worrrst. Like, unless you got a job for me, why we wasting time? 😂 Accolades ain't never paid the bills boo! 😂😂

The thing Jason didn't mention about his 21st century comeback was that it was a rebranding to pretty much polar opposite. In the '80's there isn't a role I can recall that wasn't the same sleazy, smart-mouth little hustler. He was basically Eddie Haskell on Silver Spoons and every role after was more of the same until Arrested Development. Kinda cool.

this is a low key top tier interview for me, so many funny organic moments weaved between the pre-interview topics. it may seem a bit low-key but there's a lot going on here. Seth and Jason were being incredible scene partners here, both taking the lead over one another incredibly graciously. Jason has definitely refined this style of banter incredibly well on his podcast so it's really fun to see how both of these guys tackle this conversation, especially since Bateman wasn't really trying to promote one of his big projects like Ozark
