What a wonderful eulogy from his grandson. My daughter and I watched it here in England and were very moved. How proud he would have been.

What a beautiful person Jason is. So fitting to be the one delivery the eulogy. It is reassuring to have someone so brilliant and personable addressing our great country on behalf of the life of a great man who happened to be President from Jan 1977 to Jan 1981. // Jason served in the Peace Corps in South Africa after college. In South Africa he worked on education issues in rural areas.

This is decency. Trump must feel very uncomfortable hearing statements from decent people talking about a decent honest president
@PrivacynolongerexistsG6 сағат бұрын
Yeah he knows no one will ever speak of him that way. He gets uncomfortable with any leader who actually served their country in the military too.

Carter was a partisan Democrat. He was given a grand, stately funeral. But the Christ, the Messiah, to whom Carter gave allegiance was given a rich man's tomb and a 14 feet, 4 inches by 3 feet, 7 inches burial cloth donated by the rich man. The servant is accorded more acclaim than the creator and master. 😊

What about Trump? A "man" who seems to have no redeeming human values or features, no sense of integrity and a well-defined lack of honesty...all combined with a nihilistic Me-Me-Me character...every aspect of which is diametrically opposite of the daily life of President James Earl Carter.
