The ref blew the whistle for the foul then in a fit of rage, Trossard kicked the ball away. Why are Arsenal fans lying over the incident? The second yellow was totally deserved. Trossard may have gotten away with getting a second yellow for the foul on Bernardo but him kicking the ball away in a bit of rage for an obvious foul left the ref with no other choice than to send him off.

Mate so taking shirt. It's a clearance, everyone with a brain thought it was a clearance, ot was 0,84 of a sec after the whistle went. What are you on about in a fit of rage, where's he get the time to process that, they were defending to half time

When the ref had his whistle in his mouth trossard was already kicking the ball because he was passing to martinelli
@oneshadow134Ай бұрын
How's it a clearance? First of all, Trossard knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he gave Bernardo a blind check to the back. He made NO attempt to play the ball, so common sense dictates that the referee was gonna blow his whistle for a foul. Trossard could've been given the 2nd yellow for that, alone, but he put the icing on the top with kicking the ball away. It's all on Trossard for committing two bookable offenses, and his excuse for saying he didn't hear the whistle for the foul is laughable cause he turned to the referee straight away after he kicked the ball...

What's is O'Hara on about regarding the ref implementing the rules? The ref's job is not to be on the players "side" or to make "the game more entertaining". Their job is literally to enforce the rules. Simple as that! Do want a more entertaining game? Yes. Do the rules sometimes get in the way of that? Yes. However the solution it not to let the refs do as they please carte blanche, just to appease the fans. Bigger picture O'Hara!!!

The argument is about consistency. How are these guys not getting
@brianmartin6566Ай бұрын
Yes the ref was inconsistent if you bring up Kovacic not getting a second yellow last year. But don’t compare Trossard blasting the ball to Doku knocking it back to where the ref said the free kick was to be taken bc they are not the same

Arsenal got away with blocking Ederson twice on the corners and fair play they got away with it. And not allowing Walker to get back into position after calling him over leading up to Calafiori’s goal. The wasn’t doing City any favors either

Should start calling Arsenal Conspiracy Theory FC

Did Jamie just criticise the ref for implementing the rules ???
@NickChemist-yf6ojАй бұрын
Implementing the rules is fine and dandy when it’s done consistently. When they pick and choose when they want to implement rules is when the issues arise .
