Wait a minute. I've heard a dozen of your songs, and thought, Huh. Mr. Perfect. He's totally handsome, musically brilliant, a great songwriter... and he sang the near-impossible "Believer" lyrics at 90 mph. Probably never struggled a day in his life. Now I find out this talented hunk has a speech impediment and a tough past. Wow. I was so wrong. Thank you.

So glad he's brave enough to share this. ♥️ Developed a stutter too after major trauma. It's quite rare. Singing does make it go away. Some days it's really hard because you can't even introduce yourself because you can't say your own name.

I was blessed to attend your concert tonight in Storm Lake Iowa!!! Thank you. When you shared about the friend who didn't try to fix things for you at a very low time in your life...I was moved to tears. I related to your experience so much, and while I wasn't blessed to have a friend share that with me, it taught me that I can be there for the next person in that way. I humbly thank you. I have two. I have an issue saying R and S. I hate it so much and it makes me want to hate myself. I feel like my therapy is doing nothing. Usually I don’t talk when I don’t have to and I hate that I never talk without hating myself a bit.

Somehow God will get glory thru your weakness, and you have to focus on that, and on Christ, or you will get lost. Having to deal with focusing on Christ right now despite migraines and other life issues, or I will lose the battle and life and this headache will overtake me. Tip for anyone....don't focus on your sin or identify with it no matter what it is or it will overtake you. I was forced to identify with something that was not mine by family....was impossible to stand and resist them. I needed a way out and for God to provide for me apart from their plans. It was not easy and unfortunately the church/the Body of Christ did very little to help, but continued down the path with welfare and govt assistance programs rather than helping the poor and those in need like Christ has called us to. The church claimed the word of God with their mouth but denied Him in the way that they treated me and the poor, and I was unable to stand in Christ. Please do not betray each other as brothers and sisters in Christ during hard times. Have your faith match your works. Pastors, please don't preach from the pulpit about how to manage your finances and marriage and life and then when hard times comes, shrug your shoulders and say you are not a counselor, go to the world for help, we can't help you. We are the light, not the world.
