Same here. He's the reason I'm out doing covers of his music getting through a divorce, loss of my kid brother, mother and father in the last five years. Somehow a man I've never met has put down my thoughts in his songs except he's added advice on how to get through. I'll never be able to thank him.

Besides the awesome songwriting and musicality of Jason Isbell, this was an extremely high quality produced video. The camera work created such a closeup and intimate view of a singer/songwriter at the top of his craft. The sound mix between the voice and guitar was simply superb, and it overall presents a minimalist music production at its very best. Kudos to Findspire Studio - I will subscribed right now.

Shit, it's like we got in a time machine back to early Jason Isbell and he is singing to a half empty bar of people but above the din of all the chatter and dishware clanging you could hear his voice , his words, his song and slowly became mesmerized by it. Well that's how this video felt to me. Sooooo good. It's like I just realized I've really missed Jason Isbell. Damn good! thanks!!

Awesome stuff Jason, thank you Findspire. I think this video and all other live studio recordings could seriously increase their views by not only panning shots from face to strum but also pulling focus on the chords/notes a musician is playing on guitar or keys at times. A huge percent of live music on KZbin is watched by musicians at home in order to see how they play etc. Thanks again!
