I love Jason Isbell too but Neil Young and Bob Dylan are still alive. Let's be kind and considerate, pretty sure Jason Isbell would agree.

Man, this songs a killer. Saw him play in Boise, Idaho years ago just after he left the Truckers. Then we bumped into him in the hot dog cart line. Great bloke, shook his hand and said thanks a lot for the tunes. Going to see him Sydney, Australia 3 April 2016. Man I'm frothin for it.

Living in Texas we're blessed to have the most incredible live music scene, I believe, in the world, with incredible singer-songwriters, but if there's any musician I wish we could draft to our team it's Jason, however, at least they play him on Texas radio, I don't know about the rest of the country?

if Jason here is making good money, why doesn't he tell his Dad to retire and supplement his income, so he can take it easy?.and go to church

If he were making Garth Brooks money, it's quite likely his father would keep working, and tell him to give some to someone who needed it more; just my guess.

@casey20872 жыл бұрын
@@damotheman4196 Let's compare a 20+ year carer to a guy that just came up a couple of years ago and has and has already has roughly half the net worth. I'll stand by what I said. Isbell is a has been that never really was that much of anything.
@damotheman41962 жыл бұрын
@@casey2087 You just proved my point. Longevity is what matters, not "net worth"... How much of that net worth is down to "cover me up"? Isbell is an established Grammy winning artist who joined the Drive By Truckers as a teen.. And went on to a successful solo career with ALL his own writing. Wrote a song featured in an Oscar winning movie.. Your whole comment proves all the flaws in your logic. You a fan of his use of slurs also?
@joaquinfraziermusic60942 жыл бұрын
Is net worth all that proves a person's worth to you? That says something. There's room for both Morgan and Jason in this world, Isbell's songs have meant a lot to me over the years, but I ain't going around KZbin hating on Morgan. He just occupies a different space in my mind.
