One big difference I now notice between use in the US and our UK friends, is the lack of religious practice and belief in the UK except for Muslims and Jews. Now, for the last few hundred years Great Britain hasn't been particularly Christian, but these days it's seen more as a joke to be a believer there. To me, that's sad. I like a nation where all can practice their faith, or lack of it, but Britain seems less because of its dying religious beliefs.

The head of state has to be a Christian but lots of us don't believe in any of your stories. This has happened in the last 50 years but you be you .
