They were born a day apart. They live 7 minutes apart. They both have absurd, sometimes hilarious, stories of addiction and run ins with the law. They both have even bigger, more triumphant, and inspiring stories of recovery. And I've idolized both since I was a teenager. It was bound to happen and im so glad it did, my only complaint is that it wasn't longer; I hope they collaborate on more!

I had the honor of spending a day with Mewes. He was the most genuine and down to earth person I've ever met. He aslo drank at least 4 espresso and 5 cups of coffee, and still managed to fall asleep in the afternoon. It was one of the best days of my life. Keep up the great Pod Steve-O. Shows how much he cared and thank god for Jay's wife because she helped Kevin so he could be here today. Their friendship is so tight knit. Their families are so tight knit. Jason's such a cool dude. I game with him sometimes which at first I thought would just be for his stream, but he is a true gamer. Dude comes on while on the road or behind stage to get a few rounds in when he can, it cracks me up. During his last film tour we'd be playing while he was literally 10 minutes from having to go on stage. I told him it was weird going from a teen watching his movies while burnin one to playing video games with him while burnin one lol. What he says about an hour feeling like 6 hours... yup. i loved it. as a person who used to abuse drugs and sold a lot of weed n shit to selling nothing it makes me so happy that im on the right track vs me a few years ago always drunk or high usually both, in trouble arrested many times. i have done everything coke 4mmc acid tons of weed ketamin mdma etc but not meth, thousands of Valium and Xanax and even heroin a few times but i never got addicted to that like my old friends. i smoke a little bit of weed still and play video games and try to keep improving my life and health everyday

I second that, really the one thing keeping me from having trouble with getting clean was always the cocksucking Withdrawls. Doing dope is only fun for about a week or 2. The other 5 years is just trying to not shit your pants and be riddled with anxiety, truly do not wish that on anyone.

The great thing about quitting opiates is that no matter how much you use and for how long, once you quit, you're no worse for wear. I never got into other drugs, but 10 years of alcoholism left my body and liver with severe permanent damage, and it's so easy to get anywhere. Stay away from opiates folks, but for god sakes, if you have an addictive personality, DO NOT DRINK

I remember being 8 years old, Jay and silent Bob Strike Back just came out. My older sister burnt me a cd from napster or kazaa with the 'f*ck song' on the cd. I got hooked and started singing it in school. Just totally throws me back thinking about that song and the weird but formative impact this movie and the culture of the time had on me as a kid. I'm a recovering addict and I know the feeling. When your in the middle of detoxing opioids the people around you who love you and want you to get through it are you enemy at the time. When you feel better and your head clears you see it was all out of love. But when your sick and they wont let you get high you feel like they hate you I begged please just 1 bag just to feel ok and I did not want to hear no. But I'm blessed to have those people around just like Jay is.

Jason Mewes has always been one of my favorite actors for every role he's played. It's not said enough, but Todd and the Book of Pure Evil was great

Jason is still so intense man. I hope he stays himself man, he seems like a great guy. That’s awesome. His style is 100% twitch too. Just like having a random conversation. And you should seriously do twitch Steve-O. Even like randomly without a schedule. People would just get notifications when you went live. Then all of a sudden, 20,000 people are watching.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes!!! Not gunna lie, the more celebs you have on that have struggled with addiction and made it out the other side, really helps me on my weak days. Knowing we alll on some human level struggle with the same shit really helps.
