Glad to see someone had something other than negative things to say about Aaron. My comment was.. Poor dude, you can tell being in his brothers shadow, trying make his own way, along with whatever other demons he had to battle got to his head and messed him up pretty good. Mental illness is real, at least he is at peace now. 🤘😔🤘 R.I.P. Aaron.

They constantly tried to contain him in his answers, and give him support and understand him... I think they realized that Aaron was not well and they wanted to give him a space for expression and respect, I think they tried to take care of him during this interview... I am very sorry for Aaron's life and death, he was a person who suffered a lot and could not overcome his abusive parents.

It’s sad people can’t tell and need an official announcement of someone battling a diagnosis to be nice- there’s many people who’s battling an undiagnosed MH and self medicating because they don’t realize it themselves, there’s people who’s at stage 3/4 cancer and don’t know they are battling it out right now, until it is showed on a X-ray, it’s considered terminally ill - chadwick boseman was battling cancer and people can only focus on his weight - the point is so many is battling an invisible disease that’s not blant obvious disabled on the outside- not everyone gets to live up pass 60 to treat them better later

This wasn’t an interview, but more of a therapy session for Aaron. Someone was “listening” and he’d end up opening up more and more and being more honest with every answer to the questions. I hated his attitude but watching this again with new eyes you can see that it was a defensive mechanism. His life made him “grow up” fast and it’s heartbreaking to see a man still hurting when all he wanted was to be seen and loved. It’s truly sad he never got to be the best version of himself, I probably would have turned into a prick too if I had walked a mile in his shoes. 😔

It’s because of Steve-O’s podcast that I even known anything about Aaron carter. I love hearing artist back stories, especially since I’ve gotten older and have more of an appreciation for knowledge, upbringings, and success. I feel so bad for the guy because he struggled, I admit even after the first time I saw this I was like, lord he’s still a weirdo but pretty awesome to hear his story. When I heard he passed, I was bummed because this podcast wasn’t that long ago. RIP Aaron, brother. I’m sorry you had to leave rough but I hope you’re easy and relaxed now. Thank you Steve-O for the awesome podcast and introducing me more to Aaron even if it was for a short while. Because of you I felt I knew him a slight bit better and he is in my thoughts. I haven't watched anything about Aaron Carter in years and years, so it was very eye opening to watch this since his death. The guy is obviously very hurt (on many levels) and protects against that with delusions and grandiosity. It's really sad. I remember him as a kid that just wanted to be cool and be loved like his brother and he ended up making up stories about himself as an adult likely because he felt like he never met that goal. Whether he had a mental health issue, aside from addiction or not, it just makes me feel sad. RIP AC.

My heart hurts for Aaron Carter. I listened to him as a kid for a brief period of time and that was it. Not that I disliked him, I just subconsciously lost interest and moved on. I had heard his name in the news and randomly through the years and didn't think much of it. Like a lot of people here, I'm listening to this podcast after the announcement of his death. His words are disorganized and borderline truth sometimes, but the fact remains, he's a human being that has been through LIFE. I've had a hard enough time getting by myself and I WASN'T a childhood star; I can't imagine the stress and anxiety that comes along with that lifestyle (on top of the bankruptcy). I often say "Fuck fame, I want to be rich", because of the negativity and anxiety that comes with fame. I can't judge him for the way he's handled that, because I never have. Rest easy Aaron, may your soul know peace for eternity.
