its designed to mimic a sample of a snare from say the "amen break " where as youd cut out the snare sound which was sped up to around 140bpm youd also have to capture anypther cymbal at the same point of the snare in the audio loop. so this sooner version is like an acoustic " sample " of that chopped snare sample.

Thanks Jason, great review. 2 questions. Did you add a lot of compression on your snare? What hi-hat and ride and crash cymbals are you using here?

Awesome drums and amazing playing! Good job man! Where do you get your backing tracks to drum along to? Did you construct them yourself? I'd love to get my hands on some of them.

Jesus Christ I just got one new for 85 US dollars. Lost the key right away though. It's so freaking loud it made the veins in my ears blurp every time a single hit occured. It's hard to tune it to 100% because of only one side tunable so I went out to tune only the top part and left the bottom part partially detuned and it still sounded awesome. And come on man you can use it as a primary drum even for metal, you know this better than anyone else. Can't wait to make that Earthworm Jim ost cover with this little biscuit. The full name is Sonor SEF 11 1002 SDJ (select series)

Which genre of music are you playing ?
@JasonsDrumTube6 жыл бұрын
Shelly Joshi Being a freelance drummer I do my best to play any style of music that is required for the job... If I had to try and classify the track on this specific video then I would go with the term 'Lounge/Fusion'.

+Simone ASRoma Hi there, sorry for only replying now... The SDJ part sounds familiar, but I'm not sure about the 1200 part.
