Ahh yes drum sets, the only way to ever play percussion. Street musicians are automatically 0% legitimate because they can't afford the only REAL PURE form of percussion. I mean, you really should look up the definition of the word 'pretentious'. And while you're at it, look up the words 'elitist', and 'condescending'. The Cajon reached its peak in popularity in 1850. At that point it would be 15 years before 'drum sets' were even a concept in popular music, let alone a common trend.

Thanks, Wikipedia. So, the next time she on the street, she can whip out her fancy box and start busking. But when she playing with Jason fucking Mraz, who can afford approximately ALL of the drum sets, maybe she COULD use something other than a box. WHICH, wasn't even my original argument. I was just saying that hitting a box doesn't make one a "percussionist," otherwise my 4 year old nephew should be touring.
