@armycuts Jason Mraz has one of the best ranges of any singer I've ever heard. His voice is brilliant!!!! And I haven't heard a song yet where he hasn't challenged himself. I suggest listening to more of his music...

Khalil Gibran: (from his book ‘The Prophet’) “You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore. You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days. Ay, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God. But let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another, but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music...” “Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams...”

well yea of course lol, 0:40-0:50, but also 1:30-1:50, this entire song is amazing... thats what i love about his music, he never makes two songs that sound the same, always a unique melody, and when live never sings a song the same way twice =)...

I'm not a religious person by any means. I feel the feeling of "god" he speaks of, though. The words capture exactly what that feeling is like. I'll admit, I'm jealous. It was a nice feeling. By far, one of his greatest songs ever written. I hope to hear it live myself, one day.

JASON MRAZ GOD RESTS…

He still sings this beautifully! And his songs are just as thoughtful. However, I feel he's lost some of the freedoms he had when he wasn't quite as big as he is now. BTW, he's one of those rare artists who truly FEELS his music, that's why he closes his eyes so much.

@chwd6 good point, open mind creates for a free environment to love. I get that. However... "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." and the only one to have every truly loved my is God...still this is my opinon
