I love how Jason Patric had a balanced persona about his character, and a set of morals he stuck to within the story line. And even today, kept it clean with himself even exposed to all the people and stardom and didn't get whisked away with the vanity, drugs and drinking that almost automatically comes with it. I must've watched The Lost Boys 500x since I was a young teenager, I too had the VHS tape. I have 2 dvds now, and its on my Plex server. You wanna hear about devotion? Lol I think Jason is my first crush, I just turned 16, a month and a half prior to its release. I was just in complete awe of him, even still. I admire him, and he is still so handsome, he's barely aged! Got that young Gemini energy, huh? Haha that's what I am also, a Gemini (June 9th though like Johnny Depp). I kind of wish I was more in tune with my softer sensitive side, as I see Jason has always had that air about him. Course, he is closer to having the Cancer qualities of intuition, sensitivity and feelings. I do have those opposite moods though, of the negative nature, kind of a cognitive dissonance in my mind. Like how can I be feeling this deep and intense when I have a more flighty, happy, positive nature about myself, yet can do a flip without much notice? (a Cancer quality, they are our neighbors in the stars) And other times, whatever's happening, it can go right over my head, unfazed, when in the bad moments, it clearly should have but didn't. A child like quality, not childish. I see and sense the seriousness, yet he can still convey an even and articulate and laid back person with ease, much better than me anyway. My mind, it's like I go into another world and I forget about any of the stress that might be happening, kind of a clean slate that doesn't linger. It's plus on one end but come off as a bit ditzy, insensitive or resilient to others that are more keen to what that really is within me. Sometimes, when it's really bad, I can't wait to go to sleep, so I can reset my thinking to a brand new day. Lol I'm got carried away there for a minute. Anyway, I love Jason's balanced energy he throws off when watching and listening to him, even during times of stress, you can see under the circumstances that Jason puts a lot of effort in, in mastering his professional side and still have the down to earth appearance and feel to him. That comes out in his work as well. That was one of the things about him I loved most when I first watched The Lost Boys. My two kids being grown, even past college now, both love the movie too, especially my daughter. It was great and still is, just like Jason. I guess in other worlds he's my husband lol. But, I suppose it could happen in this one ☺🥰 I've never been married.. and just a hop, skip and jump to Anchorage Alaska 😅 Anyway, what a great movie and such a great man Mr. Patric is, he's perfect for his part in it. He played such a great brother. He's, without a doubt my favorite actor as a teenager. Minus the part where Jason's standing curling the barbells.. that's really bad for a person's back. Oh! But, yeah, I totally agree about the CGI crap they have today 😋😘

Jason, Patrick is giving me Val Kilmer vibes. If Val hadn’t of gotten cancer, there’s a similarity there in the look the speech, and that’s a huge compliment to Jason.

Jason Patrick and Corey Haim felt like authentic brothers and I saw this movie with my older brother. We had a similar relationship and this film is special because of the genuine performances. Except corey feldman...weak.
