U answered ur own question. Jason is always saving some1 or going on an adventure. I'll add in that he's always being a mob enforcer or being kidnapped, as well. He rarely saw his kids & until his recent come back, they didn't rly know him. Literally for years, the fans wud scream abt 'why doesnt Jason see his kids. He only cares abt Carly's kids'. Etc etc. Its worse b/c he lives in the same town as them. The kids are taken care of financially & always will be, but money does not make a present dad. It doesn't matter why ppl watch the show. Love him or not, Jason Morgan was 100% a deadbeat dad. They used to call Ana a deadbeat mom b/c she was always away being a spy & left Robin w/ family. Felicia was always gone too & was called out by Maxie in front of every1 at Georgia's funeral. It was EPIC. Just b/c u love a character doesn't mean u shud be blind to their flaws & shortcomings. What matters is the growth, the arc & the adventure they take us on.

We already saw from what Jason told Sonny, that he made a mistake, and now feels responsible, for leaving Sidwell alive at the compound, and now Sidwell and his assault team forced their way into the house where his son was sleeping to kidnap Sasha! If for no other reason than to drive home the point that any threats or violence happening anywhere near to his family is unacceptable, and will be responded to promptly, he wasn't going to pass on Sasha's rescue!

Jason and Sasha could be a interesting pairing but Jason and Anna it's the age difference that throws me off. Jason looks too old for Sasha but it could be interesting to see. They will either pair them together or put Sasha and Michael back together. That's my theory. Michael's marriage is pretty much history.

@@brothaman612 One would argue that giving Jake was a good decision considering he was kidnapped twice. Not everyone will give up their kids so they can have a better life. My point is why does everyone treat Jason like he is the worst father on the show when there is Drew and Lucky and even Sonny. At least Jason is trying to be a better father. Give him a break. I think he is going to let Alexis have custody of Danny and step away from the business now that Sam has passed. Give Jason a chance to be better.
