Jason Tells Diane That Michael Is the Father Of Sasha's Baby on General Hospital (Jan. 30, 2025)

🧼 On Thursday's episode of General Hospital, over at their table, Jason tells Diane about Sasha carrying Michael’s baby, but tells her it’s attorney/client privilege. Diane’s flabbergasted. Jason lays out how it happened and Diane bemoans how much more complicated the custody case gets. Jason, though, tells her about Sasha and Michael’s agreement that she’s supposed to keep away from him with the baby, but he needs to hear it from Michael. And protect him if it’s not what he wants.
Diane suddenly realizes that this means Robert will have another grandchild. She wants to hear how Jason wants to handle it. She suggests talking to Carly, but Jason says if Sasha’s telling the truth, Carly is the last person who needs to know. He’s gonna go talk to Michael, can Diane keep an eye on Sasha and get her whatever she needs? Discreetly.
In the show’s final moments, Diane promises to keep an eye on Sasha, but to let her know when Jason gets clarity from Michael. If he wants to be a part of the child’s life, she’ll fight for it, but he had plenty of time to tell her about this, and since he didn’t, it sounds like Sasha’s right. Jason isn’t sure.
At the other table, Maxie admits to Cody, she knew, but it wasn’t on her to tell. He won’t admit how he found out, but he’s worried about the “deadbeat dad.” Maxie says Sasha didn’t want the father known, and Cody gripes that it was all to protect “this guy” as Jason walks to the elevator. He surprises both ladies when he claims Jason is the father. Out at the docks, Sasha promises her baby she’ll always be there, and they Can do it on their own.

I totally agree I found this to be a stretch. Obviously Michael knows because he asked for Sasha. Michael isn’t going to die he will be back and can handle it when he’s back. Also fuck all this Sasha bashing-I haven’t been watching consistently since but isn’t the last thing she lied about cheating on Michael with chase to protect Wiley? Like she did that for good reason! Nina forgave her con and that was to pay off her mom medical debt after she passed away if I remember correctly? Look neither is great but it’s not like either was intentionally malicious. Also this isn’t like Michael being some dead beat-he understands the reasons why Sasha doesn’t want the baby connected to either of his families-for the baby’s safety. And Michael’s injuries support her concerns. He knows she’s already lost a child, he’s aware of the harm that has come for him and his siblings and he is respecting her decision because she didn’t intentionally have a child with mob connections. Willow is different because she had no legal claim to Wiley (I do however understand her emotional attachment to him because of what Nell did) so when she adopted Wiley she was making a choice to be a mother to a child whose grandfather was a mob boss. She also married Michael making her the DIL of a mob boss, Amelia was conceived during the marriage and everyone already knows who her farther and grandfather are so that’s a moot point also. Sasha though, I think needs to reconsider (which I think she will do if Sonny does leave the mob) but still…Robert was a spy for a lot of years and he has a lot of enemies, so do all the Scorpio’s so her baby is connected to danger regardless.

Carly and Jason are incapable of treating Michael like a grown ass adult. I'm glad Diane mentioned that Michael also committed adultery. Willow's actions didn't somehow make sleeping with Sasha "Not Adultery" as well. Sasha doesn't owe Jason any information regarding her pregnancy. Michael should deal with that when he recovers. Michael had plenty of time to discuss this with Jason or Diane if he chose. Why was it Jason's business to confront Sasha? The hypocrisy is real on this show. Jason acting like it's impossible and Sasha's lying. Jason helped Carly pull every trick in the book to keep Michael away from AJ and Quartermaines. Jason also willingly walked away from Danny and Jake.

Jason could've gone to Germany to speak to Michael without confronting Sasha if he was so concerned. Michael already advocated for himself on this matter. He chose not to include Diane, Jason, Carly or anyone else in his decision. Yet, Jason has chosen to speak to Diane in a public setting regarding it. That is completely overstepping. What's the harm in giving Michael a chance to recover a bit and then address the issue himself? Does Jason plan to sue Sasha for custody before the kid is born? What's the hurry? Jason does treat Michael like a baby. The whole beating up Drew was completely unnecessary or wanted by Michael. Michael had his own plan for dealing with Drew and was certainly capable of fighting Drew without Jason's intervention. Sonny is the only one who actually treats Michael like a grown man.
