lol...ditto. Now I'm on a RHCP video watching spree. These guys, especially Anthony and Flea, are so damn _self confident_. Watching this is basically a 101 lesson in how to be happy by being 100% committed to who you are with zero apologies. Good stuff. On top of the incredible psychedelic funk of their music, I've always loved this band for their personalities as well. They're just easy to like. :)

I meant Anthony once. My wife will never let me live it down. We were at a benefit concert for Flea's music school. It was Cinco de Mayo at the Henry Fonda Theatre in LA like 10 years ago at least. Chili Peppers and Eddie Vedder drew me to it but she other folks played too along with kids from the music school (including Robert Downey Jr.'s kid so Jr came out too). My wife and I were on the floor before the show and Anthony happened to be down there. He was walking straight towards us (and intended to go straight through us) but I stopped him and shook his hand and said something along the lines of "how ya been, bud?". He looked up at me like he was supposed to know me and clearly didn't. It was super cool that he even stopped to shake my hand. My wife will never let me forget that I just called him "bud".
