I don't think anyone realises how much talent it takes to play a two handed instrument using both sides of the brain and sing at the same time. If you notice he has absolutely no musoc in front of him. His eyes are closed and he just feels and receives this music. 💞 I’m 70ish now and only recently discovered this 👍 artist’s soothing, peaceful, inspiring, meaningful music. It’s ironic that as I’ve become older, it’s music such as this that I can relate to much MORE than when I would have when younger, listening instead to the popular rock bands and different styles of music. Divorced, jobless, alone and uncertain of my future. Laid in bed last night talking to the Lord and trying to make sense of 'it' all. Was looking for some new songs to sing as a praise and worship leader in my church and literally stumbled across this song. Isaiah 61:3 “He gives beauty for ashes.” One day a flower will grow amongst that pile of ashes. It will grow tall and strong, it will be a flower more beautiful than any that had grown on that ground before it. It will be radiant in brightness and color. There is so much we don’t always understand in scripture, but I can tell you I know the pain of divorce and loss and it is so hard, you could only wish you only felt broken, but you know it’s more, it’s to be crushed. You feel spotted and wrinkled and speckled with stains and you wonder how God could ever use you let alone love you, but remember this one thing today. When he says in Revelation 21:11 Her brilliance was like a very valuable stone, like a stone of crystal-clear jasper. Jasper is a brilliantly colored stone of many and varying colors. This stone was said to be Crystal clear (washed in the blood of the Lamb) but this stone is called the speckled and spotted stone. For some reason God has chosen a broken, speckled and spotted bride to make Holy, white, even crystal clear. This pain is burning off more dross and making you, even adorning you for your groom. Be blessed. Hold on, take courage, we will soon see His face.

Jason Uptons' music so anointed...gives me such peace...I have an adult daughter with schizoprenia( MY ANGEL NICOLE)...so diffic I lt to watch her suffer....i no God loves her even more than I do and it hurts Him even more...ppl ask me how do u handle her and how difficult it is...but shes my o so beautiful child and that God gave her to me temporarily....to protect love and care for.....i want her to find peace in Christ like i have!!! O I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! Its so difficult at times .as her mother to c her suffer and suffer thru her difficult times with her.... Ive been seperated for over 7 years married a woman right out of rehab ( unevenly yoked and alot of other things) we had a child together held on not going to church but maybe a dozen times in 10 years. I was faught ever step of the way on everything i held on with everything i had i thought i was going to convince her to show her a better life convince her to give her heart to Christ. Through it all i raised our daugther to be tough, Lord forgive me was i ever wrong. Now over seven years seperated i had nothing else left i was completely destroyed in everyway you could imagine. Went through a lengthy battle for custody (4 years) God gave me custody . Now 6 years later i have a daughter that hates me, never even had time to grieve my marriage grieve anything. So much i could write but i wont. But hearing this song its been soo many years since i cried i cant remember how many. Its still not all out and gone. But i wanna just openly say thank you to my savior , my Father my everything that through it all He never gave up on me. All along the way He would remind me hey im still here, and i love you. There is NOTHING this world could EVER offer me to walk away from my Jesus.
