My wife and I had been praying for God to reveal the name of our baby that’s coming (Feb/March) and today, as my wife read Proverbs 11 to our 3 kids one of them asked what Righteousness was. And after my wife explained it in some simple terms and we finished putting them to sleep, I came to bed and started watching KZbin, she went down to finish some chores. I had been very sick and was not quite paying attention during the reading or my son’s question. So when I was watching KZbin and came across this song (after listening to 2 other Hebrew Psalms) I was struck by the word Tzedek and thought I wasn’t sure what it meant, I paused it and looked it up to find it meant Righteousness. I though about our family’s personal scripture that bonded us together Isaiah 61 and though about the oaks of righteousness. And I knew this was to be his name. Well as I am telling my wife about it and trying to show her she’s like we just read that in proverbs with the kids…. And I was like I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention but let me look at it. And sure enough the whole chapter was about Righteousness. And to us something so obscure and so minute but significant for us personally, is an answered prayer with songs and wonders. Music and beauty. Confirmation and perfection. Thank you for having made this music and bring Psalm 23 such beauty and even more giving us this connection to God as he revealed our sons name. Tzedek!

One other interesting tidbit after reading the Psalm 23 is that immediately after Righteousness (Tzedek) it says, for His name. And that in itself is maybe lucky or divine but the fact that it’s a boy, and those words are right next to each other almost telling me what his name supposed to be, is a beautiful sign and wonder! And I thank God for this gift!

ADONAI RAYAH; DID MAKE ME TO LAY DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES, DID LEAD ME BESIDE THE STILL WATERS; AND HE DID RESTORE MY SOUL FOR HIS NAMESAKE. HE CAME AND CARRIED MY GRIEF AWAY FOR ME. @@Jesus_is_Lord555 I do not deny that Jesus is the Christ. He is the Massiach. He is not however God Allmighty. God is WHO he is. Tell me who is Yeshua's God? When he was on the cross he yelled 'My God! My God why have you forsaken me? Eli,Eli lama sabachani! He says my God. If Jesus was God than who is God's God? If Jesus is God how can he forsake himself? Or when talking about the day Jesus returns in Matthew he says no one will know the day or hour not even the Son. Just the Father. If Jesus is God how can he not know they day and hour. If they are the same they should know the same things. What about the Rich man who called Jesus "Good Teacher" and Jesus replys with how he is not Good only God is good. If Jesus was God how could he not be good? How can you have 3 distinct people and they be the same thing? Also the holy spirit is not a distinct thing. God is a spirit and God is holy. Thats why Jesus could be called Emanuel. Emanuel means God with us in hebrew. He received the holy spirit or God into him and so God dwelt within him. God with us. If you have the Holy Spirit within you Gods spirit lives in you. Thats why your body is a temple or the temple acually. God never lived in temples made of human hands. He lives in us. God is one and Jesus is one. God is the father and Jesus is his son. They are not the same person. God is not a son of man. God is to not be represented as a man or any 4 legged beast. Yet Jesus is constantly called a lamb. A trinity is pagen. It is polytheism. One God means one God. One person. How can Jesus sit to the right hand of God and be God. If they are all the same should their be just one throne. If Jesus was God why did he pray. God doesn't need to pray to himself. I could go on, but I can only write so much. Please see me out.

This is probably David's most beautiful psalm showing his total trust and appeasement with YAHWEH as his Shepherd. Being a shepherd himself David knew that in order for a sheep to feel totally content he must have security, food, water, and he must feel safety under the hand of his Shepherd. David is showing in this psalm that no matter what else is around him, that his trust and security in YHWH is all that he needs for contentment.
@mauimrc4 жыл бұрын
What if he found out he wasn't a sheep, but a mighty ram who had nothing to fear from the wolves? What if the shepherd had only taught him to fear for lack of security, water, and food so that he could keep him close simply to shear him and devour him? What if he found out he was a man, and that the shepherds claiming to keep him were far more dangerous than the wolves? What if you found out you were free from con men in bathrobes and fairy tales?
@wisanggenikertyaadi95684 жыл бұрын
@@mauimrc remember you wolve, the shepperd owes you nothing. He already got food, water, and safety. But instead he will risk His life to protect even one of his sheep. May God forgive you of your sin of pride and hopefuly my sins too
@BK-lc7vb4 жыл бұрын
@@mauimrc but he didn't. David acknowledged his need for a Shepherd - a GOOD Shepherd who is no conman or wolf or 'bad guy'. He can be your Shepherd too if you ask Him. I sense you have been let down and have gone through a lot of hardship. I sympathize with you and pray for you, dear one. No matter what you've been/are going through, remember, Yeshua is knocking at your door, waiting to embrace you and be your Shepherd! May the peace of God be with you.
@mauimrc4 жыл бұрын
@@BK-lc7vb 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You could not be more wrong my friend. I have never had a bad day my whole life. Once the scales were lifted from my eyes I've known nothing but joy. It was a glorious day when I realized that there is no such thing as talking snakes or Donkeys. It was an enlightenment when I realized that human sacrifice is evil and not a glorious act of faith like the Bible describes in the murder of Jesus or the murder of Jephthah's daughter (Look it up). There's a reason you don't sacrifice people like they do in the Bible. Its because you're a more moral person than anyone in the Bible, and you know human sacrifice is wrong. They didn't. When you finally realize just how much else in the Bible is wrong, you will possibly become an even more moral person again. I appeal to you only on moral grounds. If you wrong someone, you must seek their forgiveness. Not an invisible sky daddy. There's no difference between pretending that sky daddy forgives you and saying, "That tree forgave me for what I did to you". That is the opposite of making ammends and the opposite of morality. You know this. Con men in bathrobes and $5000 suits have conned you good people into believing lies that will continue to let them shear you like sheep and eat you like game. Wake up. You are men and women. Not sheep.
@BK-lc7vb4 жыл бұрын
@@mauimrc Ahh...my dear friend, I'm not sure where you got your 'information' from but it's false. I don't think the scales have truly fallen off your eyes yet. I don't believe in a man-made 'sky daddy' or human sacrifice. As a matter of fact, my God is very much alive and loving! He's a holy God too, who does not delight in evil. He commands us not to murder so, He considers taking another person's life a serious matter! When sin came into the world, wickedness also increased and most of mankind turned away from God and His ways. We deserved to die (eternally) but God loved us so much that He did not want us to perish, so He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, (He laid down His life willingly for us - out of love - to save us) so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledge your need for a Savior, repent of your sins, be baptized and be born again.
