Jason you're content has really spurred me on to get back into the hobby after many years, luckily I'd kept my kits and spray brush in the loft and I'm going to get some new paints and cement and just have some fun building, many thanks

Jason, build what you like, mate. It’s your channel: it’s interesting and informative - techniques in construction and painting/weather etc. are transferable, be they demonstrated on GW, armour, WW1 aircraft… whatever. End of the day, people can watch, or not watch, right?

A very enjoyable video Jason, a pleasure to listen to you and seeing what you are up to. It was such a cool experience to meet you at Telford and see in person what results your 3D printing journey has yielded and how you put it to use for your Spanish Civil War projects.

How great to see some one reinvigorate their life by diving back in to a complex hobby! Well done, will you be considering showing us your efforts? 🤨

I’m 75 and never really stopped building models! Having said that, I still learn lots of useful techniques, not to mention shared experiences with Jason and other channels. Keep it up!

Love the armour modelling beginner series. Literally got me started in the hobby properly. Love the 40K stuff too. So much to be learnt and shared between historical scale modelling and Warhammer. Cross pollination and all that! It's also a gateway for younger hobbyists into historical scale modelling so important for the broader hobby.

Nothing wrong with some 40K for the channel! I'm sure many will enjoy it.

HNY It Was nice to meet you Jason and Model Nerd on the Saturday at Telford even though you were in deep conversation about 3D printers. I’d be interested in the Warhammer stuff just for the fine detail painting techniques 😁👍🏻

Great to have one of your "emphusing" vidz out. Always gives me a kick start with my own plans. I don't collect or game warhammer but have enjoyed meeting new people with different ideas at gamer clubs. Even did a 40min Space Marine contest, after an all nighter, which was a great laugh. Bring it all and keep the content coming.

Happy New Year Jason! Looks like you have your work cut out for you this year. Looking forward to seeing your updated take on the beginners guide. I totally agree about 40k being on the channel, it is still building models. As far as my holiday hobby time goes, got the chance to build the T800s diorama from the Terminator 2 movie, which was a good bit of fun, and got started on building Tamiya's 1/48th IL-2. Hope you have a fun and productive year and look forward to seeing more of your builds!!!

Jason, Happy New Year. Thank you for the efforts and for sharing your hobby. I certainly do enjoy your videos. I learn from and find entertainment from your content. And I appreciate the evolution of the product. If I didn't live over the pond in Texas, I would certainly find a way to meet and say hello in person. Who knows, maybe we will meet at some point. Looking forward to all the new work. And I will be interested in the Sherman as I have not built armor yet. Thanks!

Thank you for the video. Looking forward to what’s coming up. I actually quite like the Chaffee and hope for some new tooling one of these days. The Norwegians used an updated version with a new gun up into the 90s. In movies, it portrayed American tanks ( along with the m41) with the Germans using m47s and m48s.

Warhammer great. So on one side of the table I build anything from Airfix to AMT. But my son is mad about Warhammer so he sits opposite and we spend a lot of quality time together because of it. Good for you. P.S. his brushwork puts me to shame.

Great video as always Jason. Personally, I watch videos on all aspects of scale modelling, wargaming and airbrushing. I don't play Warhammer or GW, but I find the techniques used on the figures really interesting, particularly as a beginner modeller and airbrush user. So please do show some Warhammer painting. A happy and prosperous 2024 to you and all of your viewers.

All of the great GW ForgeWorld kits were painted using scale modelling methods, there is no-one doing this on the internet (that I know of) it would be great to see you do something like that.

I build 40K to ‘split’ things up. Actually, ‘spice things up’ is probably more accurate. Either way, it’s all modelling regardless of what others may say. Looking forward to whatever you build in 2024. All the best.👍🏻

Its interesting how the hobby is expanding. 3D printing is going to be a big aspect of the hobby but its not an area I will be inclined to move into. Figure painting is something I enjoy so I think the Warhammer stuff could be of interest. My problem at the moment is that the house is getting too full of dust gathering models and the wife is complaining. The next project is to build some shelves in the loft to store most of my models with just single area in the house to display models so I will rotate the display. Having too many models is not something I have heard debated on the YT modelling channels and I know some people are very avid builders, so how do most people deal with this issue?
