Jason, you have a QC (quality control) issue with the saddle soap cleaning. When wiping off the saddle soap and then going over the shoe with a brush, you didn't focus on the back of the shoe properly and thus left some saddle soap in the crevice between the heal and the leather. The soap was still there when you applied the cream and it only went away once you applied the brushes to buff in the cream. The saddle soap being left there may not have had any impact on the shoe but high standards must be maintained. Apart from that it was a very good video. This is constructive feedback, nothing more. :)

Thats dangerous it will eventually affect the color and stiching...when I use saddle soap, I use clean warm wet clothe to remove the soap thouroughly.

Great question! It’s more of a pure wax without any solvents to thin it down to more of a buttery consistency.

Thanks! Shining a brand new pair of shoes can help soften the leather with the creams and the waxes can act as an additional layer of protection against any potential stains. If you ask any shoe shiner, they’ll probably tell you that the first shine is the most important. Great question though. Thanks 🙏
