I wouldn't mind a cambion Race mod, im surprised it wasn't a default option because even in the story have mizora almost being put into the the same ilithid pod we get changed into, so i imagine it could be a possibility especially with the The battle in the beginning of the game

I have 330 hours in this game, i was about to beat it, then the mods came, i havent seen act 2 in a month because new mods and custom character mods keep coming out and i keep making new characters, and have yet to beat act 3, clostest i got was Orin was dead, Killed Cazador, saved Sharts parents, and that was it

Centaur would be awesome and I hope it comes! Yeah good point about the horses, it’s actually funny that they are referenced a few times (mostly by Astarion) but there are absolutely NO horses anywhere! But it totally makes sense due to the setting and how the maps set up

I managed to play as a Mindflayer by making a new character and teleporting to endgame where you transform (using Debugbook), spawned Orphic Hammer with (cheater ring/scroll) freed Orpheus and voila.. now teleport to crash site. One problem tho.. you won't be able to sleep at camp, once you sleep you get stuck. So i just teleport around. Having the time of my life being a Mindflayer!

Sometimes something seemingly simple to change can actually require the developers to have to go through pages upon pages of code, constantly making changes and testing it out only to find out something else broke because of the code they changed, so they gotta try something new, or worse start completely over when they hit a brick wall if code that would be a nightmare to touch. It can even surprise the developers themselves at how difficult a change can be, sometimes its so bad that developers end up abandoning a simple project that they promise theyd release. Its happened many times in different games, even by the most popular developers out there. I dont believe that will happen with the race mods, but it being difficult to do is fully possible

The debug book really showcases the possibilities where you can use non-in game tags like Aasimar out of sources already in game I believe. So you can just look like a human but also an Aasimar!

If they cant do race mods im like fully okay with them just giving us underwear that add like horns and wings with some passive buffs on them to basically make it indistinguishable from playing as a whole new race Tieflings can easily be ArchDevils, and Elfs can easily be Asmir Also can add clothings to allow us to shape shift into different creatures, idk if its possible but it seems like it should be. And the best part is even when they do finally add race mods, these other ideas for mods would still be neat to have as it still allows for you to be able to make your allies feel like new races like Karlach being a Succubus without actually changing her race Or you could make Nephalem (Half Demon Half Angel) by picking a race and adding the opposite clothing for it. Which is dope

I just attempted to do the impossible mode on the tactician enhanced mod, and I'm not gonna be able to do it. I'm not good enough at the game to plan around the enhancements made. I snuck past the intellect devourers to kill the injured mind flayer, I was able to talk my way out of a few other encounters to and killed anders in the tomb, but couldn't get past anything else without dying. All the extra actions they get is just too much

What I really want is a mod that allows you to swap racial bonuses. The halfling is by far the superior race for stealth archers. I just can't ever pass on their Luck and not having to deal with aggravating critical failures. Plus the advantage on stealth. But I'm tired of being short lol. Just let me have halfling stats (including lower movement, I dont want to cheat) on a human or elf or tiefling.

On console its going to take a long while as they already struggled with letting us atleast customize their looks, we cant do it to Minthara and Jaheria yet even. So seeing as race mods are causing crashes, i wouldnt plan on it coming for the next few months. Crazy thing is you can add Horns and a Tail to Minthara and Jahera with the mirror, if you press the "randomize" button enough, some of the horns fit very well too, and the tail looks perfect if you wear a cape. We just cant confirm the look for some weird reason We'll have better luck praying for capes/underwear to add horns and a tail with tiefling passive stats attached to them. They already added wings as underwear, and some modded underwear adds passives to your character so it would fit in easily. We could have that within a few weeks to a month if some modder goes for it Otherwise we will just have to wait maybe until late February or worse, we'll never get it.

I think the reason they may lump it all together is because when they solve the issue that is preventing them from doing the official races, it will have a sort of domino effect, opening doors to allow them to release other races just as fast as official ones.

I’m computer/console programming ignorant. What are the major differences in programming between the two? I’m guessing there is some proprietary software, coding, or programming within consoles but again I know next to nothing on the subject. I always viewed consoles, especially the most recent gen’s, as computers with but very specific tasks. Is it the code from manufacturers that complicates modding for consoles or something else?

The way that consoles handle multiple files that interact with the game data is a bit different on a console since as you said, it is a bit more specific. This usually causes issues for mods, and that's why you don't see them often for console games!

I think your comment needs to be looked over again, i cant exactly understand you. Are you saying that when you uninstall a mod and start a new save, it forces you to redownload all of the mods? And do you actually me re-download or do you mean re enable?

So tried deleting it on the full mod page and it was fine then. Not sure if it's because I did both or just from the second one, but it worked when it was an issue once.

Yeah beat the game a few different ways first, then cheat for laughs and giggles Tactician enhanced is a pretty fun mod to balance the gameplay back out. Make your odds near impossible and try to figure out a combo of mods to still win
