Excellent piece of your journey. And especially on this video, the tranquil ambient noise was great, I think you could make a sound track just from that. The melodious sounds of the cow bells, the horse crunching his feed, birds singing, rooster crowing, water flowing, wind blowing, church choir singing, and the light but steady percussion from the soft crunch of footsteps on the path. Keep it up and age is just a number. I'm 64 and still often feel like 30 in my head (just a whole lot smarter 😁). And never pass up the opportunity to do what you really want, do it now. ☮️❤️❤️❤️😎

Thanks. Yeah I try to get a bit of f the sound recorded as I go. Tough on this hike with limited equipment (no mic) but there were some nice sounds these days.

Hi Jason. Really enjoying this series that I've only just found, thanks to the link through from Simon ABITW. Thank you for sharing your Camino. I've been thinking about doing it myself, so the info is all really helpful. It's a good mix of gorgeous scenery, and your experience of the trail. And your last comment about using the Spanish that you've got and not being overly critical is 100% right. Keep going! Suerte! (Good luck!)

Last year I walked the Primitivo, but have also walked the Portuguese, Anglais and 823 kl. long del Norte to Finisterre. Wonderful experiences all of them. However, on route, you cannot help to notice that the horses are free, the sheep are free, the cattle are free, the cats are free but, sadly, in the main, the dogs are chained up or kept in cages. Apparently, their barking keeps the property safe. The only real negative observation I can make really. Will try the 1,004 kilometre long De la Plata next April/May.

Enjoying your videos on the Camino, going through them one by one. I walked the Primitivo at about the same time, I might have started a few days before you. I also filmed the whole trip and put together some KZbin videos documenting it so I enjoy seeing your version of the Camino. This was my first time and I hope to do it again next year. Buen Camino!

Glad you like them! That's a tough call. I was originally planning to do the Camino del Norte. Haven't done it, I don't have anything to add to your decision other than I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of the Primitivo. I'll return and do the Norte one day. I think if I found it too busy or not interesting enough, then I'd probably head back to the Primitivo.
