Lovely neat job Jason , nice job to do , what you up to in this freezing weather ? I’m finishing leaves on my sites but starting a bit later
@jasongardener34252 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate 😀. Still crazy busy, doing a pleatched lime hard trim today, the temperature is low, but because I maintain large property's, it's still full on, planning on some pruning tomorrow as forecast -3, its only snow that stops me. Hope all good your way 😀👍👍

Hi Jason what secateurs do you use and bags and what make of blower cheers nick

Hi I could tell that machine doesn’t really have the grunt needed to trim the top of that shrub, my husky sounds the same and I don’t like the struggling sound that’s why I still always have the petrol combo hedge trimmer on board. None the less a neat job 🙂👍
@jasongardener34252 жыл бұрын
Yes it did struggle a little, camera didn't really show how thick some of the stems were, the hsa94 would have gone through, like a knife through butter, but totally forgot to put in van that day 🤦♂️, iv never have petrol back up tools with me, got 4 kombi getting dusty lol. Cheers, hope you and family are all good and looking forward to Christmas 👍

@@jasongardener3425 Hi yes we are ok 👍 still doing the job but have cut down a bit in recent years, looking to gradually get away from it. I only have the husky pro battery trimmer and strimmer they are great with the lighter work, but to save the motors I do still use the petrol stuff on the tougher jobs. I don’t really invest much on equipment nowadays as my old stuff keeps going so that’s good enough for me. Hope you are all doing well I found the photo of the duxford meet the other day 😀nowadays I’m more in the small engine repair community, repairing things was always my preferred thing to do. Nice hearing from you 🙂👍

Thats a good size job jason how many batteries do u carry for that kinda job
@jasongardener34252 жыл бұрын
There was more on this job, than you can see in the video, but what you can see, I run ap 200 in hedge cutters and ap300 in blower, all battery's would still be around 50% still when finished. Generally I always carry 6 battery's in van of different sizes. 👍👍

Hi Jason top quality work as always great to watch & learn. About how long did the job take? I’m thinking around half a day perhaps 3-4hrs in all. Would that be accurate?
@jasongardener34252 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate 👍. What you can see, is about a quarter of the job, but what you can see, took with clean up, about 3 hours ish, so your not far out 👌👍

The bushes start off small and they don't prune them hard enough back. Within a few years you get the call, "can you take it out, it's too big".
@whitevoodooman7276 Жыл бұрын
Can you cut these at any time of the year or is certain months best
@jasongardener3425 Жыл бұрын
It's best to only cut, when its frost free, but generally avoid extreme weather conditions cold or heat 👍

Question for you lol I cut 2 small circle bay trees last summer that cut great but now there nearly all brown .... Is this normal lol . Will they likely grow back ? Its not looking good What would you guess caused this . Frost ?

Nice, How long does the electric long hedge cutter last?
