Was that both sides, or does neighbour deal with that? Is that the 8ft or 10ft tripod ladder? Good job anyway, bloody hard work. I love the way that trimmer can be extended/retracted on the fly to give you a double stroke and catch the full width without having to move the ladder or change extensions.

Yes top, both sides, the hla86 is great for getting across, but being able to extend easily is so much quicker than having to put a extension in, very versatile tool 😊, I used the 8 foot as its tall enough, but lower than top fo hedge, so ladder wasn't in my way, cheers mate 👍 😊

Tbh don't think I would want to do to many big hedges in my 60s, so take my hat off to you mate, at 54 some days seem harder than others, but enjoying the job gets me through, take care mate 👍

big job, tough on the old arms, I like laurel, the provide and all year round natural fence, nice and bright unlike conifer, they are just hard to maintain keeping them in check in the summer months without burning the leaves, cutting harder in the winter. great work as always

I do really like the HLA 66, well balanced and fairly lightweight... I find myself quite productive when using it. It has nice blades and leaves a good finish 👍🏽

@@barlow2976 it really depends on what size of hedges you take on and if it annual trimming or older growth, if its regular maintenance customers, would say hla86, but one offs, the hla135, but both exactly machinery 👍

Weighs a lot less than the electric when the battery is fitted, so the petrol saves a lot of my energy.

@@chasjm21 depends what battery you are using, yes it could push the weight up, compared to a petrol machine, but with battery, your not breathing in the fume, which a petrol machine is producing

I run a HLA 66 with a little 100 battery and it does so much work , every now and then we put the 300 battery in but the 100 is plenty the hedge trimmer itself is bullet proof we use and abuse it and it keeps going.Same as the little RMA 443vc chuck the 300 or the 500 battery in and its a brilliant bit of kit, way better than the husvarna lc353 ivx we run (never again) Hoping to speak to stihl at Groundfest this year and see what sort of deal we can get on the RMA 453 Great video though and has made me think it may be worth grabbing the KMA 120r
