I think it’s not Katy’s best work, but definitely an overhate train went on… Katy’s never been a lyrical genius, but comparing everything to teenage dream is stupid cause obviously teenage dream can’t be recreated and nothing will match it.. I understand the Dr. Luke, but she does have contracting & separate the person from the Art.. he’s obviously a good producer and if you don’t like him then don’t listen to the old songs that he’s worked on in the past aka like all of Kesha’s hits

I think the main issue with 143 is that it very clearly isn't meant to be a feminist album. The feminism is shallow, and lack a clear message through the eyes of that ideology. What the album IS is a love letter to her daughter, I think. Songs like lifetimes and all the love are about her family, Wonder has a feature from her daughter in it. And I feel like those songs are the most listenable for me personally. I believe that those songs actually possess some sort of heart behind them, making rhem sound just- a little less bad.

The Voidz' Like All Before You is my least favorite album of the year personally. From the AI album cover to the lack of cohesion to the incompetencies coming from Julian Casablancas. It's just a disappointment all around coming from Julian Casablancas who led both The Strokes and The Voidz to great success and innovation.
