That smile and enthusiasm for his fellows is what sets him... different from others. I know his heart is for real. Not better or worse. I love Will Wilde and Roly Platt, but I feel like I know Jason. He's one of "us". How fortunate you are to have and know such a friend.

Kirk here mystroe ... Your exactly right ... since I've been concentrating on one or two holes at a time I'm really getting good on the root note , the two draw ... And my rythm as improved two fold ... I love the blues but being from west Virginia it's all blue grass and country music up here in the mountain state .... That major pennatonic scale is the best for our music up here ... Rock on !!!

You is one charismatic muddy funster. I love your style of teaching man. Thank you. An hour of you every day sends ripples through my learning process. I've even started playing my only C harp again which i had ditched because it was a 10 buck big river harp an old girl friend bought me years ago when i started thinking about learning. I've since got my hands on loads of more expensive harps in other keys but as I've progressed I can even make the cheap one sound good. (well sort of)...

Hey big Kirk here from the mountain state ... Since I've been playing country music on the major pennatonic I decided to try blue grass on backing tracks ... I guess being from the mountains my rythm seems much more natura and easy l to this type of music ... I'm playing the major pennatonic with it but I'm also playing the four draw half steep bend in there too ... I can definitely here the blues in there along with country ... Chords seem to come easy with blue grass too ... When I hit that four draw half step and then go into the g chord I hear my man Dylan hitting that long lonsome train sound ... I love it but it's also very erie ... after awhile gotta stop playing it ... It definitely wears on me ... Very soulful but then you have to leave it for awhile ... Also hear a lot of gospel in there too ... Bill Monroe was a genius ... Bob wills too ....lol !!!!

Just beginning harp and understanding why 4th tone of the song key tranposes to the harp key, for blues (dom. 7), it's cool to hear how you're getting the pretty pentatonic sound by transposing harp to the 5th of the song key. I imagine this is a deep rabbit hole. Top on my agenda will be learning how you do those gypsy minor scales on a diatonic major harp. Played that vid last night for gf and she went wild.

This scale in UNIVERSAL and is known in every culture. It's a five (penta) note scale that can take you to heaven and sooth your soul. It is so beautiful!!! It's simplicity can create such complex emotions in both the player and the listener. I love it and use it all the time. It is great to see we have the same taste in backing tracks Moon Cat. Nice choices. Today I went through this a little before work as well. I found myself suddenly playing a song that I hadn't heard in decades with the country backing track. I found myself picking up riffs from a Clint Black song called, "State Of Mind" - from 1993! This tune has a decent little harp intro too. Thank you so much for this lesson! Anyone viewing this great lesson, please consider pitching in on Jason's Patreon. Sending peace and love Bruthaaaa!!!
