I haven't done very many amp captures, but I've loved capturing NDSP plugins and capturing Tonex and NAM captures. I'm currently gigging with recaptured NAM captures. It's the best my live tone has ever sounded!

That is awesome! Much more to come for QC :-)

Thanks for putting this video together. Great overview of the capture process. I have been researching a lot on the QC, as I’m still considering making the switch over from the Fractal. Let me ask… When you’re capturing your amps, how should you set the EQ, gain and master volume settings? Should they all be set to 12 o’clock in a flat/neutral setting? Also, once captured, how much range of gain is available via the QC or do you need to definitely do multiple captures in order to capture all gain ranges from clean to high gain, as you demonstrated? I also loved that you demonstrated how the QC reacted to rolling the volume back! Something nobody talks about, but is always an issue with many of the digital systems vs tube amps. Thanks so much!!

Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video :-) You would want to dial in your amp and choose and place your mic in a manner that it sounds as you want it to for the finished product. QC will just create a copy of what it is fed. I capture separate captures at numerous gain levels for the most accurate representation of the amp. Hope that helps :-)

Great vid as usual Jason. Question, I use return 1 as my electric guitar In for my QC presets as the manual says I can. What’s the difference between return 1 abba Input 1 or 2 especially with using captures and how do I make return 1 sound and respond like Input 1 or 2?
