In the future, I would love a more indepth video on things to consider when making our own rooms either basment or shed, etc. Like specifically electronic, insulation, etc. Basically all the necessities beyond the cages.

I appreciate that! And yes, it went from a corner of my bedroom, to a separate bedroom room, to a portion of space dedicated, to a full dedicated space. All growth was organic and it was a perfect natural progression in my opinion.

What do you do with snakes you can't sell ? I would think the weak economy causes a slow down in sales.

I have honestly had increased sales every year. I think the majority of the economy impacts in the reptile industry comes from people trying to grow too fast without building brand or reputation. I sell pretty much everything that I make and at the same time, everything I make is something that I like. So very worst case, I would just keep it, raise it, and breed it. I think too many people get sold the dream and get talked into buying the super high end stuff. They then produce the super high end stuff and can’t sell it. Alternatively, they try to grow too fast and overproduce beyond their customer reach. The large majority of the babies I make are in the less than $500 category. I target the largest base of the pyramid/market. It’s the largest market and I would say the least impacted by the economy. So short answer, I haven’t been impacted due to the marketing, branding, and structure of my business model.

Haha exactly. They all sell at some point. I think I have 1 from 2022 and 10-15 from 2023 out of 300-400 made each year.
