The first time that I witnessed a constrictor knot being tied, I was helping a contractor as he was roping off a work site. First, the fellow arranged a series of weighted stanchions around the work. Then he, at walking pace, unwound a hank of heavy rope, laying the line down on his perimeter. At each stanchion, with a flip of his wrist, he threw a constrictor knot over its head, then drew up the line such that it hung at waist height. Decades later, that remains the most impressive knotting demonstration I have seen. Your videos are almost as good. Thank you for sharing. Wish you well.
