Pleased you found it here Dave, This came straight from DJM records during my D.J.days in 1975, I was doing Butlin's for the whole season, I played this often and so many people wanted to know what it was, as I got it before it came in the shops, it felt like I almost got it in the charts personally as the word got around. Loved Carrott aka Bob Hughes*. I'm not quite a Brummie, living just outside the boundary, but it was so good to hear a Birmingham accent on the telly. Jasper played charity matches at my local football ground, alongside Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Nick Owen (now chairman of Luton FC) and various other celebs. Especially loved to hear him talking about Birmingham City matches "eh, Carrott, they've got no cowin' Bovril". I was in bits, I've been in a similar situation, we went to the wrong end at Villa Park....don't ask.... *CORRECTION Bob Davis, I have no idea where I got the name Hughes, it was stuck in my head

@@neilgodwin6531 Not a problem. To quote Mr. Carrott: "We all make mistakes... as the dalek said, climbing off the dustbin." I'd forgotten how happy I was when Jasper's observational comedy was poking fun at everyday life, and Mary Whitehouse was complaining about how often he said "bloody" in 30 mins. Which just meant "target acquired" for next week's 30mins... If I had a steerable Tardis I'd disappear back into the 1970s/80s!
