Dachfenster? Roof windows, they can open and close. It might be the same as skylights. When we lived in Germany our apartment had them. Absolutely loved them. No leakages, no problems with snow, and they made our second floor nice and bright,

That front room would make a nice office. I couldn’t see a child with a door leading out of their room. My son would have taken all kinds of advantage of that 😅. I love a work island with extra storage. Who needs a breakfast bar _and_ a dining table? I’d have to work with my architect to make changes based on preference. A finished, walkout basement is always an asset. I do love a loft. All in all a wonderful little home.

I just love this house overall, but I think a shed dormer over about 1/2 of the stairs with small windows would make it more comfortable getting people and furniture upstairs. Also, it looks like there would be a struggle getting access to the washer/dryer.

Would love sky light windows on the top floor… watching the stars at night and nice sunlight in the day. Minus the not so attractive bath … just a nice big shower. Love the kitchen with the pantry, bar fridge and the laundry behind lovely sliding doors … kitchen looks neat! I would however use a smaller dining table. This 6 seater is just to overpowering.

Like the concept of this design. If the main floor bedroom is for a child would take out the door. The loft bedroom needs egress window.👋👋✅💯 Otherwise great job 🎉

Cute layout…though there were three door, the pantry, a room with a sink, was there room for a washer and dryer and the third white door, what was that, AC. Hot water heather. What everyone has said about the downstairs bedroom, if it were a child room, a door is questionable. But I really liked the layout, and great for a young couple starting out.

My old concern is the railing around the lift. The space between the spindles need to be less, a child or pet could fall through them

Love the floor plan 👏👏 my only concern is the bedroom on the ground floor having a door; if a sleep walker gets up in the middle of the night, no one will know. Otherwise; what would the cost be to build a home like this?

The kitchen doesn't have a lot of counter space, though the pantry helps. The loft bedroom lacks privacy, but if you install a wall you will need a window both for light and to provide the legally-required egress.

Pretty little home but I see it as a bit too small. Great loft as long as you don’t have to duck to access it, but where does one put their clothes? No room for a king or queen bed with nightstands either and the downstairs bedroom has inadequate space for a queen bed. Who puts a kid downstairs alone? Kitchen and its pantry are nice. Where’s a laundry area? Living room is quite small. Dining seats 6 but LR couldn’t seat 6.
