Getting laundry, furniture, or yourself up and down those stairs would be too risky. And sure wouldn't want to have to use the bathroom at 3 AM.

I love it ♥️, the living room w/ a field stone fireplace and a double face fireplace, the kitchen, the brick wall, the bathroom w/ a narrow brick wall, the floor design is awesome, the second bathroom w/ the narrow brick wall, love that design in that one bedroom and the other main bedroom, with a unique wall design is different and it brings the room out ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ a cozy outside room ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I like the floor plan very much on this 2 BR/2 bath home. What I don’t care for is how small all the rooms are. I would prefer a master suite with bathroom, 2nd bathroom closer to the 2nd bedroom but close to the living area. All rooms need to be larger, except the bathrooms.

I like the triangular traffic pattern in the kitchen (although in this instance the fridge door is backwards) as it is more efficient. The backdoor so close is a boon for gathering fresh food & herbs from a garden, and the bathroom by the door is handy for those times when we get a little too involved in gardening, so we can shower before tracking dirt throughout the house. One question though ... I see a lot of closed doors (not bedroom) but have no idea what they are for, Why can't you open the doors a bit to show us? Utiliy closet? - they're nice. Pantry - even nicer. Show us. Even a broom or a few cans, or a towel or two would give us the idea.

Another great design!

The small porch with two chairs outside the living room/entrance is not needed. I would extend the home forward, opening up the kitchen - it is far too small and cramped with the chairs seated around the island. Otherwise, it is very nice.

Very nice! How about a lamp, or 2 pinup lamps around the sofa to read by, and bookcase nightstands in the first bedroom? And, please! No glaring white kitchen! Don't want to constantly be wiping jam, smoke, fingerprints, and newsprints off the cupboards.

Cute and cozy!! First, just a couple of minor things…the doors on the fridge need to open the other way, lose the two chairs in the kitchen, and part of the closet in the small bedroom is unusable because of the nightstand (although shifting the bed to face the closet may solve that problem). The only major additions/changes I’d make is to extend the porch all the way to the corner of the house by the master bedroom, divide it with a glass/screen door to the rest of the patio and give the master bedroom a bit of private porch space by moving the window closer the corner and adding a door. I would also add a small covered entry over the ‘back’ door to give a mud room area from a carport or garage to make unloading groceries easier. Since I am a widow living alone, I would probably make a craft/office space out of the smaller bedroom.

It's beautiful & that gigantic wrap around porch is awesome. It just can't be 650 square feet because my one bed one bath is 650 square feet & much smaller & of course not including the awesome wrap around porch.

I love this. I probably would take the covered porch space next to the master bedroom in and have a private bath and extra space then put the laundry in the bath space behind the kitchen. It would add maybe 200 to 250 sq ft but for me, it would be worth it.

It's an attractive house, but the second bathroom is not well placed for use by the bedrooms. It might better be just a powder room/laundry room, with the present laundry space dedicated to pantry storage. Dining only at the kitchen counter uses up that valuable food prep space and is not a pleasant place to serve guests. A rearrangement of the living room might provide enough area for a proper table. And then there's the TV-over-the-fireplace......

Ein großes Lob an Sie! Endlich eine Badewanne, in der die Duschmöglichkeit komplett abgedichtet ist, sodass kein Wasser auf den Rest des Badezimmers fallen kann. Und die Küche hat einen Backofen, super! Der Kamin an der Holzvertäfelung sieht mir gefährlich aus. Ich bevorzuge Fussbodenheizung. Das Bett auf dem Dach ist zu wuchtig und der Stuhl nimmt unnötig Platz weg. Sonst top 😊

Ela foi planejada com todo muito bom gosto e com todo o conforto que uma família precisa. A lavanderia é maravilhosa... A lareira na sala, as estantes de livros... Tudo muito bem pensado... Como pode ser construída em locais onde costuma nevar, se fosse possível, eu construiria uma garagem na própria estrutura da casa, com abertura interna, direto para dentro da casa. E fecharia com aberturas e janelas de vidro, a *varanda externa* para poder apreciar a paisagem nos dias chuvosos ou com neve... E colocaria mais uma lareira nesta varanda se fosse fechada... Quanto mais conforto melhor! 💕 Mas a casa, como está, já é PERFEITA! 🇧🇷 BRASIL 🇧🇷

Jasper Tran puts together some of the most desirable small homes. Imagine this home somewhere off a marina or as a retirement home off a rural lake, all those windows open to the fresh breeze. Personal touches would be a coffee/tea bar with a small fridge in that little nook upstairs, so I wouldn’t have to carry my morning coffee up the stairs. It’s just such a charming home.

Not a bad little house

Nice little home for a single person, couple, or parent(s) and a child. I wouldn't put a toddler in the loft, but I could see a little bit older child or a teenager being happy to have the loft. I think there might even be room to add a small bathroom in the attic space in the back. It's good you are showing different options from different budgets, and showing how small spaces can have everything that is needed.

A very sweet little house as a guest house, or the home for grandma.

Like a wood stove for primary heating source but not that one, but rather an iron stove with oven for backup cooking as well as heat. It would need a guard around it, especially in a smaller home. The lack of 2 bathrooms, no laundry room, and an entertaining area that is severely short on space to sit and dine in this home and therefore, not one would want.
