He gave his voice in many nepalese film at that time . And in the meantime he got an indian music scholarship from indian embassy, Kathmandu and thats the way he made his journey to Bollywood! I had met Lalitji in Pune and till date I am your very big fan. Jatinji..your humility, honesty and love for music and Udit Narayanji is there for all to see. The work that you both have done is unmatched. I still feel one song which did not receive the fame it deserves was Tum bhi hamari o manjil my love..had it been picturised better and on Aamir or a more popular hero it would have become a bigger hit. The antara of that song is where Udit completely over shadows Anuradha Paudwal ( with all due respect). The tune is so unique and is as fresh even today. Only. The way u gave so much respect to uditji and kumar sanu in ur closing remarks shows how great human beings u all are. Because its too nice of u to show such respect to both for their support in ur difficult time and I must say Jatin-Lalit also gave so much to both the singers that they became living legends in bollywood music industry. TUJHE DEKHA AND PEHLA NASHA both songs will be remembered for years and years and I think the kind of music you gave in so many movies be it dilwale dulhania, jo jeeta, kuch kuch hota hai and so on even the background music is so touchy that no one forgets which is really very rare nowadays. The way u have shared ur experiences and showed ur humble side proves that no wonder why jatin lalit were great musicians. Your music is Outstanding and kindly make some music albums with Uditji, kumar sanuji, sonu nigam and all and bring those true music back as today I do feel that all songs look very similar in tune or too much noisy and loud for no reason. The most hits with you and for the 3 khans. Only singer with most of the hits with all composers, be it Anand Milind, Nadeem Shravan (late 90s), A R Rehman, Uttam Singh, Shiv - Hari, Nusrat Fateh Ali, Anand Raj Anand, Aadesh Shrivastava, Viju Shah Anu Malik, Himesh, Bappi Lehri, Dilip- Sameer, Ismail Darbar, Sanjeev Darshan etc. For 3 decades.

Jatin ji, I always like and love Jatin-Lalit as music directors but apke aaj ke is video ne apki izzat meri nazron mein aur bhi badha di. Ab mein garv se keh sakta hoon ki Jatin-Lalit are my favorite music directors and Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan are my favorite singers.

You are absolutely right. Pehla nasha was the deserving song candidate. You can still hear star hotel playing pehla nasha in their lawns. But song Sochenge tujhe pyaar karenge nahi.. can be heard only in autorickshaw or roadside dabba.
