We can use bootstrap configuration file to configure parameters and it will load before bean initialisation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@18:44 default methods are not introduced in functional interface. We can have default methods in non functional interface too. @22:20 It's always good to use application.properties. Because yaml files is difficult to read and maintain.

Wrong. Yaml is less verbose! Difficult to readd or not is just bcoz u have not used it and is a personal choice.

yaml is more error prone you could mix up spaces and tabs and in that case hard to debug when your application is not starting.. but the question was which one is better - there is no better thing, it depends on preference we have both types in our project

When I watched ur video L & T intervew and in rest they are are asking to u which api basically u are used Jax rs or Jax ws then u can say Spring rest we are using not jakson here jakson basically use for conversion purpose we are using ws api for soap based and rs called rest service but this is old approach . When you are add the Web starter jar in ur pom file then they are directly download the jar related to rest full services not api required and here u are using Restcontroller
