I remember in 2015 a group in ISIS that was from a certain nation, They consider themselves as a big mafia in Europe!!! They said we could defeat the Kurds on the battlefield. The day they came to fight the Kurds! They were fought in less than an hour! And They were all killed there! When did documentaries become so insanely censored? This is war, and war is never pretty but how are people gonna understand how bad war can be if they don't see the devastation it causes. We cant expect people to want to stop wars if they don't see the true horrors they bring. That said, I remember this fight. I was so mad at Obama for not allowing u.s troops to fight to help these people. Daesh absolutely was commiting genocide on the yazedis along with many others. It was pathetic that the news only talked about this for just a couple days then you heard nothing else about it. I hope any that are still alive has found peace somewhere somehow.

If by origins you mean religiously, then not necessarily. Most Kurds are Muslims (Sunni) which is Abrahamic, but the Kurds in this documentary are mostly Yazidis which is related to Zoroastrianism, which is not Abrahamic (though does share some similar themes, such as a supreme uncreated deity, an opposing deity akin to the Devil in Abrahamic religions, beings similar to angels, etc.).

And it wouldn't surprise me if oral communication largely developed among humans in order to construct explanations for existence. I'm not sure what hat has to do with Kurdish religions though. Some Kurds belong to an Abrahamic religion while others, including many in this documentary, do not.

I recall viewing footage of ISIS militants traveling to Turkey for medical treatment before returning to Syria to engage in combat against the Kurds. The Kurds sought peace in their territories and successfully eliminated ISIS, yet we are aware of who our true adversary is. We will not forget that if we must sacrifice our lives for our homeland, we will do so. However, witnessing the deaths of children and women is the most tragic experience any human can endure, and we hold deep respect for the Kurds.
