This was 25th show of magical Pancham. The centerpiece of the event was the Legendary poet and lyricist Mr. Javed Akhtar. Javed and Pancham had an affectionate bond. Javed showcased the uniqueness of this bond in the following event. On this day, he also shared the top 5 songs he admires of Pancham and much more...This was an exceptional evening . We are sharing these beautiful moments with all music lovers in three parts. I found the manner in which singers were called upon the stage to be inappropriate! Javed Akhtar should have been provided with the details of singers/songs by organizers. Orchestra played excellent role and their artists should have been introduced! Javed saheb's commentary informative and impressive! Very good program overall!

Yes, R.D. Burman hailed from the then Cumilla (now Tripura) of Bangladesh. His father was also born and brought up in Cumilla. S.D. Burman had many beautiful memories centring Cumilla.
