Naqvi Ji has written wonderful lyrics for Hindi movies, going as far back as 1946, for Anmol Ghadi with music by Naushad Ji. His movies include JUGNU 1947, NAATA 1955 , MEHBOOBA 1954, SULTANA DAKU 1956, SHIRIN FARHAD 1956 and others. The singer, Saleem Raza, is a Christian and Pakistan’s legendary playback singer, with 600 solos and duets to his credit. Salim’s rich, smooth voice infuses spirituality in the listeners’ hearts, even if they do not know the language. This compelling music is composed by Hasan Latif Lilak.
