JAVELIN Julius YEGO Technique Analysis 91,39m and ZELEZNY / YEGO Comparizon

To day in BEIJING , the Kenyan javelin thrower Julius YEGO will be one of the favorites of the World championships and eventually make history if he wins and become the first African to get a World title in this event usually considered to be a reserved playing field for the Northern Europe throwers . Julius YEGO came on the international scene at the Olympics London 2012 and created some sort of "surprise " in the medias that there could be such strong people in a country otherwise famous for its more or less skeletal looking endurance runners . But there are potential good throwers in Kenya , I have been there and seen some of them . The problem is that nobody is really caring about them , nearly no throws coaches with poor equipments and facilities and the athletes are left alone watching videos to pick some informations. Anyways , this document try to analyze Julius YEGO's javelin technique . Nothing extraordinary but a SOLID CONVENTIONAL TECHNIQUE which respect the basics : CONTROL of the JAVELIN - HOP and BLOCK - TRANSFER OF FORCES into the implement and HIT the POINT -
It is SIMPLE .... May be too simple for some people who believe in some " hidden technical secrets" and swear only by always more sophisticated technology ... DP

This is probably not the best throw of Julius Yego in the technical sense. It's impressive how easily he can throw over 90m...

He has a lot of ways and little points to improve. On a good day I see him throw 95 +.
