Javelin Sergeants Worth Using? - Conqueror's Blade Gameplay

So we are back with some more Conqueror's Blade as we dive into the Javelin Sergeants in Conqueror's Blade. I used to use these javelins all the time before I switched over to the Imperial javs but I gotta say it is nice having so much ammo to use with these Javelin Sergeants.

I like to use javlin as a reactionary pick, like when you press tab and see 4-5 pike squad, use them to throw javs into the dense pike formation. When the enemy bring up shields, go back and get a melee units.

worst thing about this unit is, they want to do melee right after they throw :(

i prefer green javs because they do the double throw when they charge like madmen, 30 secs cooldown =)

Imp javs throw shields from mastery line is quite good in my opinion I get easy hero kills with that ability, especially when mauls jump for spin kills

If Sergeant javeline got the tight line formation same as Imperial javeline, this unit gonna be the strongest among all.

they are best when defending even better on supply points you just keep trowing had one game were they got more than 200 kills, but you really need to babysit them pretty hard and be on the look out for everything

Maybe it's late but, the "unit mastery" system is a new upgrade system parallel to the veterancy system, it's linear, you use scrolls to unlock the nodes and it's just for some of the unit tree units, they do make some units "usable" and some op

Imperial javelineers are superior. They are a total gigachad unit. Just got 200 unit kills with them in one of my best games ever the other day. And yes im high level player no bots in my lobbies...hahaa. With full veterancy plus full mastery now combined with great doctrines makes the IMP JAVS amazing. Jav sgts. are the extreme version of hit and run, skirmisher style gameplay. you absolutely do not have a choice you have to throw then back up until cooldown. Then repeat. The imp Javs are more versatile and can either play this way or get stuck into melee for a bit then get out and throw again.

I absolutely hate javelineers. They effectively require some team mates standing in front of then engaing the enemy force, or they are close to useless. Still, so many people prefer playing them because of the kills they can gather. The result is that every so often you play a siege where 5 or 6 (or more) of your teammates are effectively just hanging back, letting the rest of us engage the entire enemy force, fight and lose our units on the front line and then the siege is just lost as we have nothing left for the front. I VERY rarely see a siege being lost for the lack of ranged units, and practically always because of the need for more close combat units. To me, javelineers is just sacrificing your team mates to get a few more kills for yourself.

You only need one to two to 3 jav units.... the Job is to mainly pick off whatever and annoy the enemies. Some people are afraid to push once their units get hit by it, especially if they can't dive it. Especially on that map with The modao statue, absolutely annoying asf on defense. Racked up like 80+ kills with them and then some dude tries to dive them with the new cav and ended up only killing two of my units. Worthy trade

I kinda feel they're pretty neat right now, of course if half your team is playing ranges ur loosing but the fact that they're so effective against everything without a shield can make a whole difference for a team, cant count how many times i just killed a little boy tryin to flank with his Onna's just to see his half unit dying to the throw.

This is the same for any unit, not a problem specific to the javelineers. By nature, Conqueror's Blade is a game based on effective teamwork. One javelin unit on the team can be great for slowing down pushes through hero kills or gunning down damage dealers such as pikes or range on closed points. That's just my opinion, though.

That last hero on the viking map would have lasted 3 seconds against imperials. 1 second if you use the new 2 ability 😂

Outriders fit in your warband worse. For example, you can play jav sarges, onna musha, and a gold unit. Since outriders a blue unit, you can only play outriders, 2 purples and a gray. Not saying outriders are bad; they're my fav blue unit.
