Before Conor became champ-champ, Dana swore he won't allow anyone to hold two belts at once because of how this would affect their respective divisions. He then changed his mind and let Conor hold two belts at once which greatly helped cement his legend (and cash cow status.) Conor's words and actions outside of the ring are beyond their responsibilities - and rightfully so. If you want to blame the UFC, blame them for helping create the Conor phenomenon.
