Motion Track Text To An Object - 3 Methods in Premiere Pro and After Effects

In this video I show you 3 ways on how to track text to a moving object in a video using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The first method is manually key framing your text to an object in Premiere Pro. The Second shows you how to use the Tracker tool in After Effects. The Third way stays completely Premiere Pro the whole time and copies the positional path data from a motion tracked mask of an object and pastes it to the transform effect using the "Mask to Transform" extension by Kamil Pekala.

Premiere Pro is so "Pro" that it's providing automatic motion tracking for blurring reasons, but not for text pictures... :/

I was looking at a logo that had some hand-held movement added to it and I need to add something to it when I remembered "Hey, Javier had that tutorial last week, I should go back and watch that one! I did the copy/paste exactly the way it was done in this video (with the vrooom), and it did NOT work. The transform object itself copied, but the motion keyframes did not copy :( Maybe Premiere CC 2022 has a new bug?

Edit: Ok I Re-edited this comment as it originally was asking for your helping regarding the keyframing, but because you were showing everything to the minute detail, I realised you techincally already demonstrated how to do what I trying to figure out. Great video mate, this has really helped build my confidence with this part of the editing process as I use tracking a lot and I'm so use to tracking manually that this is simply a godsend. Sure Dave! It’s just a matter of hitting the right button when you reverse, instead of hitting the track backwards button (that re-analyzes your motion) you would want to hit the play backwards button, much like the JKL buttons or manually move the playhead back frame by frame
