Valenti is right. It's time for Scott Harris to make some sort of big boy move and take a calculated risk to better this team.

@@caveman3096 he’s the best SS we got, it’s in our best interest to get behind him and keep rooting for him. His success is our success. I’m over the negativity. (No recency bias) same goes for Kenta, we are hurt and need everyone to keep stepping up like they have been. I was a big Javy doubter and hater honestly but I’m realizing that it’s stupid for me to root against/rag on dudes that are doing their best and that are on our roster, it doesn’t do anyone any good. This is the situation we are in and I hope he keeps on this groove he’s on. We need it!

Kevin McGonigle has a brighter future than Clark. batting .330 at shortstop with slightly less speed. If he develops any power, he is the future no. 2 hitter. Clark & McGonigle at the top of the lineup with a prime Greene is something to look forward to in the next two years.

Again, the point is being completely missed. Smh 🤦🏻♂️. ITS ABOUT NOW. No one cares bout 2 years from now, we could all be dead 2 years from now.
@mr.hulotsholiday23 күн бұрын
It's probably more than two years from now. The mlb scouts don't project that he'll be ready for the majors until '27 or '28.

Tf Clark has a way brighter future . He leads A ball in RBIs

Funny how a day after Skubal strikes out 13 and will probably be the starting pitcher in the All Star game they conveniently become dismissive and release their grasp on the trade Skubal bit. Unlike guys like Fulmer/Boyd, Skubal is a generational talent. He's a foundational piece that will have that Verlander type impact. The type of player that you just write a blank check to because he's that much of a difference maker.
@soarinskies110522 күн бұрын
If the goal is to wait for Clark and Mcgonicle then keeping somebody like Skubal or signing him to an extension is useless, because you will not win a World Series with this current core, nor will you ever come close to winning a World Series with this current core, nor will you win anything of consequence with this current core. He hits free agency in 2 years and will demand 40 million which the tigers will never give him, and Clark and Mcgonicle at the earliest won’t be here till 3 years. The real player the tigers should extended right now and build around for the future is Riley Greene because he still has 4-5 years left before he becomes a free agent.
@stevenherrmann161922 күн бұрын
@@soarinskies1105 obviously if there is no intention to sign him they have to trade him, but that's a major assumption. He will likely just keep getting better and they will have no choice, but to pay him. He will then be our Verlander into the 2030s.

Hey guys for our mid project rebuilds how about we trade our best players who we see as part of this core for years to come because trading away your best players def gets you closer to the playoffs and championships. /s For real though these people sound like petulant children.

@@soarinskies1105 “fans like me” I’m 27 years old and my dad and I used to go to all the sporting games. It has been the better part of 20 years since any team in this town has won a championship. God forbid anyone criticizes how these organizations manage their teams. Sorry that I agree with valenti and don’t like watching a team be a joke for over a decade. Damn near every player on tigers suck, the red wings have plateaued and I was never sold on their coach to begin with, the Lions are finally good for the first time in my lifetime, and the pistons…😂😂😂. But by all means, I’m happy you like rooting for losers.
