Hahah, I mean.. yes and no, it got them to watch the rest for future videos, been trying for months! But the emotional beats were missed here. Oh well, it was just an experiment for us, see how people like it, some enjoy this others prefer the traditional style of reactions, I think going forward it will get more interesting for everyone! ^ And we appreciate the feedback!

@@CouchPatroll I personally really enjoyed perspective of people who see only begging of s1 and now try coonnect dots - I even waited for that type of reaction. However, I have to agree with many comments, that you choose to cut many scenes. I was for example waiting fo you recating to whole Rhaemyra family on Lucerys funeral.

Yeahh, the reason I cut those was because literally nothing was said during them, it was just us watching..So I was thinking..well why leave it in to have us quiet for 4 5 minutes? I kne what was happening, and so Was jessica, but this videow as more about the people new to the series..so sadly, nothing cool there.. but I get your point, I value feedback like this, it's helpful for the process. Generally we try to actually make the video transofrmative and add value to it if that makes sense?

You did hear Half of us have watched season 1 right? I am the one explaining the lore to them, the one editing, that read the books etc, so how have I not put in effort? And I've been on the platform for 13 years making content for free in the form of edits and fan trailers,just because we wanted to try something different and see the result doesn't make us money grabing villains.

This is an interesting angle and different from other reactors I like this trying it out without being keyed in from the start I haven’t seen the full reaction yet but I’ll be curious to find out how much these guys pick up in terms of the characters motives and each one’s MO.

The Targaryen 'madness' was massively exaggerated by Game of Thrones unfortunately. From over 100 Targaryens, you could count the mad ones on 1 hand. Even most of them became mad because of circumstances. They were not born mad. One of them just danced naked in the Red Keep and was labelled 'mad.'

I think the whole "madness' issue stems from incest, and it's a commentary on why this is a bad idea, royal families did do this and the product of that was sometimes...quite bad.. But I can agree, realistically the story doesn't mention too many crazy Targaryens.

There was a theory back in the day that the mark left on Bran by the night king is the reason. Whe he marked Bran, and then later on Bran crossed the wall, it broke the spell..would make some sense in all this..either that or it's not explained, or is a plothole.

⁠@@Snowball0300It is a plot hole, because the GOT showrunners D&D ignored much of the ASOIAF history and lore when crafting the series. HOTD has Martin as a producer and he’s more involved in the scripts, so the mention of those dragons not crossing the wall, I think, is Martin correcting the lore within the show. Don’t think Daenerys’ dragons were meant to go north beyond the wall & the previous kings’ dragons reinforce this, the GOT main series is remembered for notoriously omitting the more magical elements of the story at the end.

But I love perespective of connecting dots! 🤩🤩🤩 I wish someone would do video 'reacting to only first and last episode of HotD' - to this day none did, so I am taking what I have. You should tell him. Game of thrones wasn’t finished in the books. So they did whatever they wanted to. But this, this is already completed in the books. The first season was a bit slow because it was basically setting everything up but now the war has begun so believe me when i say it’s about to get real from here on out.

Hi! Yes we all know about this, I've also read the books and am somewhat well versed in the fire and blood book, I know what happens roughly, I didn't read the whole thing just so the show is fresh for me! Everyone that didn't watch the show now had homework to catch up for the next 1 or 2 episodes, I think the experiment paid off, they seem to enjoy it! And thanks for taking the time to comment!

I agree that seasons 1-4 GOT is better than HOTD so far and that HOTD is better than GOT’s later half So many are saying this show is better than GOT as a whole I also agree the scene would have been more impactful if it was shown as it was written.
