I love watching boxing videos, and then looking at all the people who paid big money to sit ringside, and seeing the 2, 3, 4 or five of them in different fights who are looking at their phone at the time of the knockout, and paid all that money to miss a moment that is historical. Happens to a few every way video I watch. But then you know they tell their friends, I was there, ringside… When that happened. Humans are hilarious.

For those wondering what happened to Pirog, he wa next scheduled to fight GGG but had to pull out due to a back injury during training. The back injury turned out to be worse than they first imagined and despite several attempts to return, the injury kept Pirog out of the ring for good. Last I checked he was forced to retire due to the injury and went into politics.

Jacobs 51/120 Pirog 27/127 .......Total punches....Jacobs 73 out of 276 Pirog 43 out of 241 . That's why Jacobs won 3 of the 4 completed rounds, he was landing more punches, around 40% more punches landed than Pirog so Jacobs was certainly ahead as the judges correctly scored it, but Pirog's right hand was the final judge.

Facts! A very ugly trait in too many American boxers, that generally never ends well.

Honestly, he reminded me of Joe Calzaghe in that he was a rhythm fighter and had super human stamina, if you could not break his rhythm you were going to lose.

That KO combo was a variation of the 'Dempsey roll', I think; a way to make up distance like the karate 'blitz' move.

What a beautifully timed and placed punch. He is definately one to watch in the middleweight devision. I used to box at amateur level many years ago, and i know only too well what kind of damage that type of punch can do. Well done that man. 👊💥💥👊

Jacobs was doomed from the opening bell. Yet the judges had him up in the fight even though anyone watching the full fight knows Pirog was dominating. Jacobs imo is and always will be a promoted over hyped c level fighter
