That whole doctor tragic actually happened in india but unfortunately there was no “Azad” or “Vikram Rathode” to help that doctor. Edit- That doctor thanked SRK after Jawan was released to send his message to everybody. And that’s why Jawan was a necessity for our society

Love your reaction!! In case you're still wondering, Jawan is a homonym in Hindi/Urdu meaning either "soldier" or "youth/young". In the context of this movie, it obviously connotes the former. Interesting that you started your SRK journey with his most recent release (barring Dunki which I personally didn't enjoy) over his earlier more iconic roles (DDLJ, Darr, KKHH, K3G, Devdas, Swades, etc), but in any case looks like you've been bitten by the SRK bug, and there's no cure for it, other than to keep digging deeper into his filmography.....A beautiful experience awaits you... Enjoy the ride! BTW, RCE (Red Chillies Entertainment) is SRK (and his wife's) production company; their VFX arm rivals some of Hollywood's best outfits

That hospital tragedy actually happened… and the govt blamed the doctor for the death of the kids for the lack of oxygen in the govt hospital.. well the govt was the one who should be responsible for supplying those to start with ! He was jailed for many years… still haven’t received justice… ppl forgot about him eventually and remembered him when this movie came out!

Unfortunately...the incidents shown in this movie are not dramatization, very much happens here...from farmer's suicides to the state of Government hospitals in villages. the Dr. Iram incident is a real life story, his name was Dr. Kafil Khan, he did his best to save kids and was later arrested and jailed, to cover up the inefficiency of the government and hospital management. Sad but true.

I mean it is exaggerated to some levels, catering to 1.4 billion people with income as low as 2.7k dollar net income which is a number that bas substantially increased you will see where is the issue, over population is still an issue which is a result of certain communities who have shunned education and decided to procreate,. Govt money sadly goes to wellfare schemes and hence establishing decent healthcare infrastructre is a tall task but current govt has done incredible work and there is still long way to go cause of the mismanagement in past 65 years
