Scheider was great in The Seven-Ups. It was before Jaws when Roy's star was on the rise. Seven Ups was as good as Bullitt, which starred Steve McQueen. The Seven-Ups is one of the grittiest crime movies ever made. It is still as powerful today as it was in the 70's. GREAT MOVIE, GREAT ACTOR, ROY SCHEIDER.

Old Goat Robert Shaw had a massive heart attack and in those days they didn’t have cell phones and his wife had to run to a cottage to call for help. Shaw and his wife were heading to their vacation home and was driving when he was having chest pains and he pulled the car over and said he was getting out to stretch and he collapsed when was walking a few feet from the car. By the time his wife arrived back to check on Robert with Emergency services he was dead and was only 51 years old. He drank heavily for years especially after his first wife died and had remarried in 76 and were married for 2 years before his death.

yeah this is bad, I've known it for 5 weeks now, 29 days lockdown and counting in central madrid. A friend got it that was joking about it 4 weeks ago, ended up in hospital for 8 days, thankfully he is recovering; another friend his mother died frrom it. The streets of the capital are deserted, only food shops, pharmacys and tobacco shops are open and u see the occasional dog walker or empty bus that's all. It's far more potent than the flu, it messes up your immune system, you lungs fill with liquid in a form of pneumonia and and then it's a roll of the dice.

I was really shocked by some of the cast's before and 2019 life pictures, especially Lorraine Gary, who played Ellen Brody. At 81 one years old, she looks great! She must have a VERY happy, content life and lifestyle!

Interesting about Peter Benchley. He said years later he would not have written Jaws had he known about the public reaction to both his book and the movie. He felt he had demonized sharks and became an advocate for marine conservation.

Yep, he very much regarded that decision, in the last years of his life, he gave massive donations to the major Shark Foundations around the world in order to help save and promote the shark's role in the ocean and their importance to the ecosystem.

There's a film about shark preservation called Sharkwater Extinction. It's concerning Rob Stewart's efforts to protect the shark population of the world. Stewart drowned in his quest to help the sharks.
