Jaws Ride view from Island

The Canon XH-A1 prosumer video camera records video in 24, 30 or 60 fps onto mini HDV tapes. This test uses footage from the Jaws ride at Universal Studios in Florida shot at 60 fps in 1080i and slowed down in Final Cut Pro to 30 - 50% of the original playing speed.

I have to say that I've yet to see any footage from the XH-A1 that impressed me. It's unusual for Canon to release a cam with colors that are so dull, and the low light shots (as you can see here) are always grainy. Considering the size of the lens and CCDs it should look much better in night shooting than it does. I mean the cam does okay, but I just expect so much more from Canon.
