I'm imagining that building when it was new and the first employees that was India and all the history of communicating with trains that came out of that station. That station kept a worker's home, paid bills, sent children to school, went on vacations. They probably brought their kids there. I also think about the last person that was assigned there and then it was closed and now sits abandoned ready for demolition. Wow, history is amazing!

Another classic by Jaw Tooth. Perfect setting, with that last days station, a curve in the tracks, coming and going, and time of day. Your two years of waiting was finally rewarded with a very long train. Love that green-livery box car at 4:42. There's a lot of seriously interesting graffiti on that first train. I rhink that's the chattiest frequency (161.220} you've ever recorded. Great that you caught some switching action at the Greenfield Yard. Nice architecture for that depot. Wonder if anyone can post a picture of it when it was all spiffy and busy? Thanks for your continuing excellence in video operation and RR information. The piglets are wonderful.

Hello Jaw, the station building looks terrible. Soon all it takes is a breeze and it collapses like a house of cards. Really, really sad. 😢Do any photos still exist when the station was still in operation? That would be the right station building for a model railway.😊 I'll watch the video in peace this evening. Many greetings from Germany Wolfgang

Thank you for the great video of the Big manifest rumbling by the old, crumbling train station. The building has a beautiful design to it and should have been save. @@JawToothbut yet, where is it? Still there, and in such deplorable shape. I would think it poses a serious danger to the passing trains and crews!😮😮😮 Looks like if a really fast moving train rumbled by, that building would fall over, into and onto the train and tracks, causing a lot of damage to both. Maybe even cause a catastophic derailment in the process. As bad as that dilapidated building is, it should get torn down A.S.A.P. It's a danger to anyone or anything that gets near it, from the looks of it.

Jawtooth, That was one of the best videos you have ever posted! I liked the first train with the three leased units from three different railroads! The old train station is really cool, but sad to see it is going to be torn down. It makes a great photo/video backdrop for passing trains... great job!!! What could have caused the rail to be damaged like that? You have posted videos of rail that is over 100 years old that is still in good shape. Thanks for posting this!

Love that old station, one of my favourite places you film from! I know you only rarely go there and next time that derelict station maybe gone. I remember the last time you where there you did go inside and I think even attempted to go upstairs??? You told the story in more detail how you caught a train from there, and I think in your late teens? So, it has particular fond memories. Yes, it is a shame to see it decay to ruin! Loved the trains, loved that angle you film the trains from, that cured side view is one my pet perspectives of trains passing. Loved that beautiful trees in the background, too... just all adds and sums up to a great video. The pets and pigs (and kids in the background) round it out, well, too. Thanks, JT!
