So happy for you , unfortunately recently I lost my dad because of pancreatic cancer stage 4 , he just live one month after diagnosis and I was with him all days and nights, pancreatic cancer is the worse cancer that I ever seen in my life , 😢😢

My mum diagnosed with adenocarcinoma. Surgeon said the whole pancreas will be removed. We don’t have enough money to do surgery. But I have questions what is quality of life if whole pancreas is removed?Do people have more complications after surgery? Thanks

Hi Dennis. For now, curative treatment is possible through radiation, chemotherapy, and the Whipple Procedure but reoccurrences are unfortunately common. With that said, there are survivors living long and happy lives. Overall, the medical community and organizations like ours are pushing for new curative treatments as well as early detection methods.
