Haters gonna hate, its what they do, many QB's in the league get a break for many reasons but Jay didn't fit the description of what they deem a QB is supposed to be and because of that everything he did was under a microscope, plus he didn't give a shit what they thought which made them hate him even more.

@@exclaim2002It was lol. Lovie Smith and Mike Martz were a bad coaching duo, and the Bears O line was always terrible. The best the Bears were under Cutler was 1 season when they had Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey, Matt Forte, and Martellus Bennett. Except Martz didn’t use Bennett as a receiver because he’s a fuckin nonce, had a terribly bland scheme, and squandered Jay’s arm strength

Jay was tough as nails man,he would see a straight freight train coming at him full blast and he would stand and deliver the ball anyway knowing he was gonna take a hit equivalent to a car accident. I never bashed jay as a bears fan. i understood the leaky lines he always had to play behind,a new offensive coordinator every year and learn a new system. Had a rocket arm too. Him and Erik kramer gave me the most joy and hope at Qb. Thanks jay thanks Erik, wish you guys the best!

Thank you for keeping everything close to the vest all of those years, Jay. As a diehard Bears fan, I always appreciated the fact you never made excuses or shifted the blame towards the offensive line. True gunslinger. One of the most underrated arm strengths of all time. Jay could let it rip and spin it. The type of spiral so tight the ball would wobble. (edit: It’s also nice to see how welcomed Jay and his family is at Soldier Field after all of the scrutiny. Every time I see him pre-game, looks like he’s in a good place in life) Appreciate the video CLong! I’m hoping you and Kyle stick to the plan from last year saying you guys will come see a game at Soldier Field so I can get quick pic and pack s quick zyn horseshoe with you 😂

I know they didn’t mention it here, but Jay gets so much hate for the 2010 NFC championship game. In the game, Cutler came out after half time, and threw the ball straight into the ground when he planted his leg. He also tried to stay warm and bike to go back in the game. Lovie Smith also made the decision to keep him out, Jay didn’t pull himself out.
